Tornados, Hurricanes & Pets

My dad is both a FEMA trained in Animals in Emergency and by my Mom whose a great Veterinarian. We often travel the country rescuing animals in emergencies. We do alot of it volunteer or as Mom and Dad call it Not For Profit. They usually get donations and recently some places be offering sponsorships.

Please in Hurricanes and bad weather pre plan and make arrangements a head of time to get your pets out too. Leaving dog and cats behinde can and often are killed.

Do

I walked alone the other day around my favorite lake. It really is a lovely lake and I always enjoyed the geese and turles. Apparently these past few weeks I have seen less and less turtles and even less of the geese and the great bue herrions are even lowering in numbers..

Oklahoma is a very wonderful wildlife state full of cougars, wild dogs and many many more wild animals. The problem is the towns and cities are full of fast populations and people eager to sport hunt.

Depressing times for a girl my age. Hope to see you tomorrow
